In 1993, Graham told Time magazine, “God will raise up different ones (evangelists) who will do it far better.”

It’s unlikely anyone in attendance Friday would agree with that sentiment.

There are some artists that put out music, songs, that in appearance seem almost of a religious spirit (try to relate that thought to the Holy Spirit)…Vince Gill has several this is one the other is “Go Rest High on That Mountain”

When Dale Earnhardt was killed in the race accident, there was a tribute given which had Vince Gill’s song “Go Rest High on That Mountain” and audio of parts of the race and at 2:27 or so in that is the remarks about the “first Paramedics’ arrival” having been a Medic, it sure hit home with me. This is that audio:

  1. Amazing. . .only 49 years old – he lived the life he loved and died while doing what he loved – the Lord reached down and took him Home immediately – no long suffering. God Bless this wonderful man whom so many loved and admired.

    Thank you for sharing this with me. . .it is special in so many ways. Love the Vince Gill song. . .fits in perfectly.
